Transfer pricing, honest and predictable

Everything your domain keeps after the move

The move brings your domain onto a platform built for people who run more than one site. Here is what is waiting for it the moment it lands.

ID protection

Once the name is with us, ID Protection can swap your details in the public WHOIS record for proxy contacts, so scrapers and cold callers lose the trail.

Internationalized domain names

Already run an internationalized name in a non-Latin script? It moves across intact and we keep handling the encoding, so visitors still type it as it reads.

Extra year added

Transfer a domain in and we add a full year to whatever registration time is left, so you never lose what you already paid for.

Total DNS control

Your records carry over untouched, and from then on you edit A, AAAA, CNAME, MX and TXT entries yourself from one clear panel whenever something changes.

Status alerts

Email alerts keep you ahead of renewals, outbound transfer attempts and record edits, so nobody moves or breaks a domain without you hearing about it.

Auto renew protection

Turn on auto renew after the move and the name you just consolidated will not quietly expire or slip to a squatter while you are busy elsewhere.

Domain locking

As soon as the transfer settles we switch registrar lock back on, so the name cannot be pulled out again until you decide to release it.

Bulk domain discount

Moving a whole portfolio over? Volume pricing applies as the count climbs, so consolidating your names onto one account trims the per-domain cost.

Forwarding and masking

Point a transferred name at any URL, with optional masking that keeps the real destination out of the visitor address bar.

One account for the whole portfolio

Bringing domains in from scattered registrars means one login instead of five. Assign a transferred name to a dedicated Class C IP, edit its DNS and renew it without hopping between control panels.

For agencies pulling client sites together, every project lines up in a single account, and the bulk discount grows as more names arrive.

Spread transferred domains across diverse Class C IPs

The reason most people move a whole network to us is the IP Manager. Once a domain is in your account you can drop it onto its own dedicated Class C IP, so a cluster of related sites never shares a single footprint. That separation is what our SEO web hosting plans are built for, and it is one click away. Reassign a name to a different IP whenever you like, group projects on purpose, or keep every site on its own address as the network grows.

Answers to the questions we hear most about transferring a domain to us.

Start by unlocking the domain at your current registrar and requesting its EPP authorization code. Enter the domain in the box at the top of this page, choose transfer, paste the code and confirm. We then request the transfer from your old registrar and email you to approve it. Most transfers finish within a few days and your site stays online the whole time.

Yes. The EPP code, sometimes called an auth or transfer code, is a password that proves you own the domain. You request it from your current registrar, usually from the domain settings or by contacting their support, and you paste it in during checkout. Without a valid code the registry will not release the domain to us.

No. A transfer moves who manages the domain, not where it points, so your existing DNS records, website and email keep working throughout. To be safe, avoid changing nameservers right before you start and keep your current hosting active until the transfer completes.

Most gTLD transfers such as .com and .net complete within five to seven days, a timeframe set by registry rules rather than by us. You can speed it up by approving the confirmation email quickly and making sure the domain is unlocked with a valid authorization code before you begin.

Yes, on most extensions a transfer adds a full year to your domain on top of whatever registration time is left, so you never lose the period you already paid for. A few TLDs do not allow an added year at transfer, and we show that clearly before you confirm.

Not straight away. Registry rules block a transfer for 60 days after a domain is first registered or moved between registrars. If your domain is inside that window you will need to wait until it passes, then unlock the domain and start the transfer as normal.

Yes. Domains are kept behind a registrar lock to prevent unauthorized transfers, so you must switch that lock off at your current registrar before starting. Once the transfer is done, registrar lock is turned back on by default in your ASEOHosting account to keep the domain protected.

You can transfer .com, .net, .org, .me, .info, .nl, .de and .co.uk, and each is priced the same to register, renew and transfer. If your extension is not listed, contact our support team and we will confirm whether a transfer is possible and what it costs before you commit.

No. The renewal price for each extension is shown openly in the pricing table on this page, and it is the price you will pay year after year. We do not use a low teaser rate that jumps at renewal, so moving your domain to us makes future costs predictable.

Your DNS configuration is not changed by the transfer itself, so records stay as they are unless you edit them. Once the domain is in your account you get full DNS control to add or change A, AAAA, CNAME, MX and TXT records from a clear dashboard whenever you need to.

Yes. ID Protection is available on every eligible transferred domain and replaces your name, email, phone number and address in the public WHOIS directory with protected contact details. That cuts down on spam calls, junk mail and social-engineering attempts, and you can switch it on from your account.

Yes, and this is where pairing your domain with our hosting pays off. Using our IP Manager you can assign any transferred domain to a dedicated diverse Class C IP, so related sites do not all share one footprint. See our SEO web hosting plans for how dedicated Class C IPs keep a multi-site network looking natural to search engines.

Yes. Our bulk domain discount applies automatically once you transfer domains in volume, which is ideal for agencies and anyone consolidating a portfolio onto one account. The more domains you keep with us, the better the per-domain rate, and they are all managed together from one dashboard.
