WordPress Hosting with a Dedicated IP

Your own IP, included free. Not a $5 add-on.

Ordinary WordPress hosting parks your site on one address shared with hundreds of strangers. The day one of them gets that address flagged, you inherit it, because firewalls and security filters block by IP and not by domain. Your account here answers on its own dedicated IP, separate from every other account on the server, and it comes with the plan instead of a $5 upsell.

The honest answer

Does a dedicated IP improve WordPress SEO?

No. It does not. Any host who tells you a dedicated IP lifts your rankings is selling you a story, and Google has closed that argument in public more than once.

Google's Search Advocate has put it about as plainly as it can be put: "Shared IP addresses are fine for search!" and there is no ranking advantage to a unique one. We are not going to pretend otherwise. Rankings are earned by your content, your links and your speed, never by four numbers in a DNS record.

John Mueller, Google Search Advocate

So why does the IP still matter?

Because Google was never the thing that was going to punish you. These four are, and every one of them is a documented, checkable failure of shared IP hosting.

Their incident becomes your outage

When a site on a shared address draws a denial of service attack, or gets rate limited for abusing something, the mitigation is applied to the address rather than to the offender. Every site sitting behind it slows down or drops at the same moment. You are quietly exposed to the worst behaved tenant on the box, and nothing in your own dashboard can protect you from them.

Your account answers on its own address, not theirs.

You get blocked at the network door

Corporate firewalls, school districts and a number of ISPs filter traffic by IP address rather than by domain. If the address you happen to share is also home to adult, pirated or phishing content, your site quietly becomes unreachable to entire networks of people. The worst part is that those visitors never appear in your analytics, so the loss is invisible.

A clean, dedicated address is judged on its own record.

You inherit a reputation you never earned

Bot mitigation services and web application firewalls score IP addresses on their history. Land on an address with an ugly past and your visitors start collecting captchas they should never have seen, while your own tools get throttled or challenged. You are paying, in trust, for behaviour that was never yours.

Start clean, and stay the only one who can dirty it.

Your whole network sits on one address

If you run more than one WordPress site, parking all of them on a single shared address ties them together in the most literal way there is. One stranger's problem lands on every project you own at the same moment, and every site you build sits behind an address whose history somebody else wrote.

Need one IP per site? Class C IP hosting does exactly that.

None of this is an SEO trick. It is the plumbing, and on a shared IP the plumbing belongs to strangers. That is the only reason we hand you a dedicated IP with the plan instead of charging you five dollars a month for it.

Moving your WordPress site is our job, not yours

Almost everyone who reads this page already has a WordPress site sitting on somebody else's shared IP. That is the whole point. So we move it for you, at no charge, on every plan, and your visitors never see a second of downtime.

1

You tell us where it lives

Send us the details of your current host once you have signed up. There is no plugin to install, no export file to wrestle with and no staging copy for you to babysit.

2

We rebuild it on your own IP

Our engineers move the files, the database and your mailboxes across to the new account, then test the copy properly. Throughout all of it your existing site stays live and keeps serving traffic exactly as it did yesterday.

3

We switch it over only when it is right

The domain moves across only after the copy is verified working. If anything looks off, your old site is still sitting there untouched, so there is no moment where you are standing on nothing.

How we compare on WordPress hosting

Entry-level WordPress plans, on the term you actually intend to buy. Switch the term and every price below moves with it, including what each host charges you the day your first term runs out.

Not every host sells every term. Where one does not, we say so rather than quietly swapping in a different number.
Scroll right to see every provider.

Every competitor figure comes from that provider's own WordPress hosting page and was verified in July 2026. Bluehost does not sell a 2-year term. Hostinger does not sell a 3-year term, and its lowest rate is $2.99/mo on a 4-year term. SiteGround only discounts the 1-year term, so its monthly and 2-year figures are its regular rates. Kinsta runs no introductory discount at all, which is why its price never moves. Hosting prices change, so check theirs before you buy, and check ours too.

WordPress hosting with a dedicated IP, in detail

The questions people actually ask before they move a WordPress site, answered without the marketing fog.

No, and we would rather tell you that than sell you a myth. Google's own Search Advocate has said repeatedly that a shared IP is fine for search and that a unique address carries no ranking advantage whatsoever. What the dedicated IP protects is everything sitting underneath search: firewalls that block by address rather than by domain, reputation systems that score the address instead of the site, and a neighbour whose incident becomes an outage across the whole IP.

It is included in every plan and on every billing cycle, and it never appears as a paid extra in the order form. Most WordPress hosts sell you the hosting first and then charge you around five dollars a month for a dedicated address on top of it. We built the IP into the price instead, because on this product the address is the point rather than the upsell.

Nothing happens to it. Your plan renews at the very same rate you signed up on, because there is no introductory price here that quietly balloons on the second invoice. That is worth saying plainly, since it is not how this corner of the industry usually behaves: on the entry plans we compare against on this page, SiteGround renews at six times its introductory rate and the others land somewhere between two and four times theirs. Your rate is simply your rate.

Yes, at no charge, on every plan. Once you have signed up you hand our team the details of your current host, and they move the files, the database and the mail, then test the copy on your new dedicated IP before anything switches across. Your existing site keeps serving visitors the entire time, and the domain only points at us once the copy is verified working.

Five on WP Starter, ten on WP Pro and twenty-five on WP Agency. They all live inside a single cPanel account and are added as addon domains, so each site gets its own document root, its own database and its own WordPress installation. The ceiling is on installations, not on visitors, because we do not cap your traffic or bill you for it.

A PHP worker is a process that runs your PHP code, so the count decides how many uncached requests your site can serve at the same moment. Premium managed WordPress hosts use exactly this figure to separate their plans and to charge you when you exceed it, yet most of them will not tell you what you are actually getting. We print it on the plan so you can size your purchase before you buy, rather than discovering the ceiling during your busiest hour.

That is precisely what CloudLinux and CageFS are there to stop. Every account on the machine runs inside its own isolated container with its own allocation of CPU, memory and processes, so a neighbour being hammered burns through their own allowance and hits their own ceiling instead of yours. On ordinary shared hosting, where no isolation layer exists, their bad afternoon genuinely does become your bad afternoon.

No, and it is worth being precise about this rather than letting you assume. Each plan comes with one dedicated IP for your account, and every site inside that account is served from it, which separates you cleanly from the other customers on the server but not from yourself. If you need each site sitting on its own distinct address, that is a different product of ours, Class C IP hosting, and it exists for exactly that purpose.

You can host as many separate WordPress sites as your plan allows, and plenty of our customers do run agency portfolios and site networks on them. Be clear-eyed about what a single plan gives you though: all of those sites sit behind the same dedicated address, so they are separated from strangers but tied to one another. If footprint separation between your own projects is the goal, one IP per site is what you actually need.

LSCache is itself a plugin, but the caching happens inside the web server rather than up in PHP, which is why it is faster and why it does not wrestle with your theme the way a general purpose cache often does. You install the LiteSpeed Cache plugin from the WordPress repository and it talks to the server directly. If you are currently running one of the heavier caching plugins, you can usually retire it once you have moved.

Cancel inside the first thirty days and you are refunded in full. After that window, when a plan ends the account closes and the dedicated IP goes back into our pool for reassignment, so take a backup and move your sites before the term actually expires. Our support team would much rather help you export cleanly than watch you scramble on the last day.

Yes. WooCommerce is a WordPress plugin, so it runs on the same stack, and LSCache understands which parts of a shop must never be cached, such as the cart and the checkout. If you are running a store, watch the PHP worker count on your plan more closely than the storage, because checkout traffic is uncached by its nature and workers are what carry it.
